Happy New Year! I was talking with a student today about memorizing the lines and spaces of the musical staff. All my tried and true methods to teach weren’t working, so I decided to do some sleuthing online. I found this great Music Staff Trainer by Bruce Kirkpatrick. The piano staff is the default staff (both treble and bass), so flute students make sure you select “Treble” under “Notes to Practice”. Thanks Bruce, can’t wait to quiz my students next week!
